It’s that time again for me, vacation time that is… I am going to LA! I am beyond excited as I’ve been dying to go there. I feel like it’s where my next move should be but before I think of moving how about I visit first. So that is what I am doing this week starting tomorrow. I will be in warm weather, with palm trees and relax living.
I am such a beach girl( hence the photo) so I plan on going to Malibu, Santa Monica and Venice beach. I partnered with Home Away as they wanted to know what my beach necessities were. The list below are the things I bring with me to any beach no matter where I am. Besides the beach, I will be a huge tourist and go to all the big places in LA; Beverly Hills, Sunset Blvd. In & Out Burger and Rodeo Drive. If you guys have any tips please share and follow my trip on the gram @thefashionplugblog.
I think what makes our generation so different from our parents is our quest for new things, new journeys and new experiences! Hence why Instagram is so popular, it broadens our horizon and shows places we wouldn’t have imagine and then we seek out to explore for ourselves. So I did just that, well with the company of my friends, we decided to take another girls trip but instead of somewhere tropical we set out for Europe for ten days! We decided upon cities like Milan, London and Paris in that order. If you’re like me and always dreamt of trips like these but never thought it would be possible then check out my journey! (more…)
The most fashionable Kardashian at least to me is this pint size beauty, Kourtney. She is wearing Balmainof course while out in St. Barth’s enjoying a family vacation. She paired the dress with matching lip and bag. Since her break-up with boyfriend Scott Disick she has been looking better than ever.
Socialite Angela Simmons seems to always be on vacation and when she does she sports the hottest swimsuits. I’ve notice that her swimsuits are more from up and coming designers than the “well known”. Being she is a big supporter of new designers I thought to shed some light on them as well. Take a look (more…)
In a city filled with fashion and retail stores, sometimes trunk shows are just more intimate for a shopper. Nestled on a busy Soho street, Sunday St. Tropez held an exclusive preview of their 2015 Collection. Their hippie chic aesthetic is perfect as the trend is now a huge part of the US market with young girls donning the hippie chic look at every big festival. I had a chance to speak with Marine, daughter of the designer, and she informed me of the plans to open a shop in the US. I loved the way the styles were merchandise by hues of yellow, gray, blue and purple. Trunk shows and fashion events are always fun with cocktails and food and as much as I hate mushrooms, Chef Jackie Greene of Slen’Da’Rella in Jersey City had me eat a mushroom tart and it was amazing. My favorite piece from the night were the Bermuda shorts with a fun colorful print and crocheted texture. Definitely to be brought on the next vacation in the Caribbean. See more here.
