Well New York Fashion Week is over, London Fashion Week is over and Milan is over this weekend but I wanted to take a moment to share some of my favorites. I have been privileged to attend Katty Xiomara’s show for the third season in a row and thoroughly love this designer as she continues to grow. The models graced the runway with accented bright red eye shadow and sleek pulled back hair tied into pig tail knots. Loved the hooded jackets and hues of green from mint to hunter green. In attendance front row was Christina Milian who took a moment to snap a photo with the designer after the show. Take a look.
What a crazy couple of days but so much fun! New York Fashion Week is in the middle of runway shows and presentations and on Thursday the fashion industry will be wrapping up Fall/Winter 2015 collection showings but last Wednesday JSong Way held its fashion show with 18 different looks. Favorite looks were the blue multi-color abstract snake print jumpsuit and the black cotton felt duster with ivory cotton top and black washed cotton wrap pants. Love this designer as I have had the privilege of styling their 30 Days 30 Ways Fall 2014 Magazine shoot. To view the entire show select more!
Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City is making a big move…AGAIN! After occupying the space for Fashion Week for almost 5 years, fashion week is leaving The Lincoln Center after this February 2015. I can’t say I’m as upset as when I found it was no longer taking place at Bryant Park. Bryant Park had become like my home back in my intern days and it just felt great to be in the tents. I had gotten used to The Lincoln Center but it wasn’t the same especially since so many of the top designers are not even showing at The Lincoln Center and have made Milk Studios and even Brooklyn a fashion hot spot for a week. So for me it’s not that big of a deal. So sayonara Lincoln Center, it’s been fun and say hello, The Hudson Yards off the west side highway whenever that may be.
