Have you walked the fifth floor of Bergdorf Goodman lately? Well you should. Some familiar and yet new designers are making this contemporary space exciting. On the floor hangs the likes of Alexa Chung X AG collection, Christophe Sauvat, L’Agence, Thakoon Addition, Acne Studios and Tibi X BG Exclusive collection. We viewed the Spring 2015 collections of our favorite designers and sipped champagne added with raspberries and bellinis while listening to the sounds of DJ Chelsea Leyland. The night celebrated three names to know and they are Marissa Webb, Jonathan Simkhai and the duo team of Ohne Titel with Alexa Adams making an appearance.What is a store party without some of the top bloggers joining the event. Wendy Nguyen of Wendy’s Lookbook, Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What and Charlotte Groenveld of The Fashion Guitar all participated wearing the designers pieces. Check out the collections. (more…)
On Thursday I attended the redesigned party of Banana Republic’s flatiron flagship store thrown by Banana Republic and Refinery 29. Marissa Webb (Banana Republic’s new Creative Director) along with actress Jamie Chung (both pictured above) and Refinery’s Christene Barberich hosted the event which was one of the best I’ve been to.

Who is Marissa Webb?!?! Well check her resume.. she is the former head women’s designer at J.Crew, she launched her own line in 2013 and just had her Fall 2014 runway show at NYFW and now serves as the creative director for Banana Republic. With such great taste she will now revamp Banana Republic and make its brand renown to compete with the likes of J.Crew and Zara. See what she has already done to the 5th avenue store in New York as well as spring looks. (more…)
