Winky Lux Comes to Lower East Side in NYC

Color cosmetics brand Winky Lux opened their first store at the beginning of the month and now they can call the lower east side of New York City their home. Launched two years ago,the high pigmented color cosmetics is super affordable which outside of the colors is the amazing part. The NYC store opening was bright and packed with beauty lovers trying out products and sipping cocktails.

The products are cruelty-free, paraben free, phtalate free and non-toxic which is why it’s my new Spotlight makeup brand for November. I was super excited to find a Matte Lip Velour in the gift bag when I got home in Smitten color which is such a great daytime Nude for an effortless look. B Floral Festival Fashion

It is festival season as we embark upon Coachella 2016 weekend, which I would like to attend next year btw, and I attended a very colorful night of festival fun hosted by B Floral and Carole Radziwill of BRAVO’s Real Housewives of New York. Attendees dined on passed hors d’oeuvres and champagne and took photos in front of the flower wall. B Floral specializes in personalized arrangements and design for events of any size and I was impressed with the floral arrangements. Along with getting our own handmade flower crowns, women got their hair and makeup done and enjoyed the great night. (more…)

Milk Studios Launches #MilkMakeup


If you know me you know I love art and going to galleries. NYC is such a great place for representation for artists and Milk Studios which houses several fashion brands always has great gallery events for artists to showcase their work. Last night Milk Studios launched its Milk Makeup line and was hosted by Zoe Kravitz and Samantha Urbani. First there was a dinner to celebrate and then later the turn up was real with The Milk Makeup Rager and had performances by Leikeli47, Santigold, and Salt-N-Pepa.
