Oct 20th, The Fashion Plug attended the 46th annual BRAG Scholarship and Awards Gala on Park Avenue here in New York City. The annual event recognizes the achievements of individuals in the fashion, retail and related industries who are aligned with BRAG’s mission. Which is to educate professionals, entrepreneurs and students of color for executive leadership. (more…)

On Sunday I attended the Fashion & Beauty conference at the W Hotel here in New York thrown by Simply Stylist. Simply Stylist was founded in 2009 and since then there have been events in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. The company provides tools and tips from a panel of industry experts to those interested in fashion, styling, and beauty and I was one of them.
