On a rainy Sunday afternoon, I ran off to the Standard in the exclusive Meat Packing District (MPD) to take in the RTW 2018 collection of Romeo Hunte. The designer is known for his outerwear pieces and this collection gave me all of that and more. From the plaids, furs, vinyl and scuba gear (sounds like a lot) Hunte executed the collection perfectly. Take a look.
Another award show another fashion run down! Last night, the Screen Actors Guild Awards took place in Los Angeles and everyone went in a different direction than the Golden Globes 2 weeks prior. Being this is the year of the woman Kristen Bell was the host of the evening which has never happened before and all the announcers were women, how about that?! The start of awards season has begun and per usual it started with the 75TH annual Golden Globes. The theme of the night was unity as all actors, actresses and activists were asked to wear black to show their solidarity for the recent chaos that has erupted the industry.
