Katie Gallagher’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection is set in New England during autumn. With the inspiration of men’s military apparel mostly focusing on the MA-1 Bomber Jacket, she mixes sheer panels and orange tights to convey the feminism of Hallow. Gallagher’s signature twisted seams finish turtleneck sleeves and leggings. Even with the pop of bright orange, the collection is very dark which recalls the colors of autumn and death and is perfect for late October. Hallow is her 16th collection and she draws inspiration from her childhood, music art and her life in New York City.
Not quite spring nor is it fall but the in-between season presentations have become popular. These collections are suited for people looking for transitional clothing. So after a hectic month the shows are complete and you don’t have to look through them all to see what’s hot, I already have!
