September 2018 was a month full of fashion as always from New York to London to Milan to Paris. As the city of dreams under went NYFW from September 6th to the 13th, the pre-day (the Wednesday before the first official FIRST day), was filled with some fun events that included stopping to learn about the Movement I AM MANY from Rebecca Minkoff. Ben Sherman opened up its Soho doors to fashion go-oers and Fashion’s Night In showcased fashion industry professionals from models and publicists to editors and buyers. Definitely a great kick off for the start of New York Fashion Week! (more…)

So we’ve done Moet, Grey Goose, Hennessy, Tanqueray and now we frolicked around with Absolut cocktails on the rooftop of Hudson Mercantile. The vibes were definitely feeling like the 4th of July as the theme was all about USA and the red white and blue. DJ Kiss spun some ole school and new school classics while a couple of party goers fluttered around in the make shift “pool” which was a bowl towering over the rest of the crowd. I indulged in some new afrobeats song from Mr. Eazi and Afro B while sipping shots of Absolut and the Absolut Firework. See some of the pictures from the night and take a look at the cocktails you can make for yourself. #absolutamerica (more…)

Gucci down to the socks…where??? Louis Vuitton and Coach who? It was nice to see a Spring/Summer 2018 collection from Dolce & Gabbana that was so fresh, so fun and literally just made you want everything in the store. It was like a “who knew” moment walking through the two levels of the Fifth Ave store in New York City. Of course the champagne was flowing, but the poker themed night left us all thinking this Spring its all about D&G.

Those who can’t attend…go around the corner and watch! Viewing parties popped up all over the city to watch the Grammys take place in New York and I attended one at the beautiful Skylark on 39th & Seventh Ave, a few blocks away from Madison Square Garden. In attendance was Bridget Kelly, Elle Varner, The Les Twins, Lea Robinson and industry media folks. The chammy was flowing and the specialty cocktails were named Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Best New Artist. As Cardi B performed with Bruno Mars and Childish Gambino gave a smooth sultry performance you could hear oohhhs and ahhs from the crowd laughing and having a great time. Definitely would go again next year! (more…)
