This fall, Macy’s is launching its first-ever “Watch Drop” program featuring limited-edition heritage watches, all created or re-issued for Macy’s. The exclusive men’s watch styles are inspired by the archives of favorite brands, from Tag Heuer to Movado.

Every Wednesday, from Sept. 5 to Oct. 24, a participating brand will drop a watch (or watches) in limited quantity. Two additional drops will take place November 14th and 21st.
For this limited-edition collection, Macy’s worked with eleven (11) famed brands to create special watches that have a specific story to tell. They include everything from cutting-edge designs to simple timepieces of iconic brands.
Many watch pieces are being introduced or re-issued in the U.S. for the first time, exclusively at Macy’s.
Selection includes vintage watches that were reissued and updated or designed to celebrate a special occasion such as brand’s anniversary.

Last week we attended a fashionable screening of the new movie Ocean’s 8. The screening was hosted by two fashion influencers on the scene; Claire Sulmers of the popular Fashion Bomb Daily and fame stylist Ty Hunter. Guests were asked to dress a la Met Gala Glam which tied perfectly into the film being the whole plot is to rob the Met Gala. See more from the glamorous night. (more…)
On Saturday, my friends and I attended the 11th annual Polo Classic sponsored by Veuve Clicquot. This event has been deemed the start of summer as people flock to Liberty State Park in their Sunday’s best. From bold colors and prints to sleek and chic looks, people are committed. Though there is an actual polo match occurring the real scene is on the grounds mixing and mingling while taking in all the festive photo ops to pose for the gram of course. Take a look (more…)
As we enter a new month, I want to take a moment to reflect on this past month March especially March 8th as we celebrated International Women’s Day. For me, it was the first March as a woman in her 30’s that I really appreciated being a women and what we have to offer in media, music, entertainment or any industry to speak of.
Cast & Friends of Culture of Fear
Though my focus is on media, attending the Women’s International Film Festival premiere of Culture of Fear was so empowering and of course fun. Directed, written and starring Kayla Tabish, the film was a thriller that took place in the present but embodied past eras. There were no cell phones, the atmosphere in the bar in the movie felt like we traveled back to the 20’s and even though the suspense had me glued to the screen, I was stuck on feeling like it was 2000 before we all walked around with our heads buried in our phones when we walk. Kayla Tabish’s character is a very vigilant reporter and watching her try to protect those around her and find the truth was remarkable. (more…)
