I recently had a friend contact me asking, where can they go and cosign their grandmother’s vintage clothing ? Now with the seasons changing I thought what better way then to compile a list of NYC consignment shops that we can all use. Take a peek
Up first, Beacon’s Closet as it was the first place I started with after college. I use to frequent the park slope location all the time, finding new and old items that I can add to my wardrobe. The great part I learned quickly was that they take your own clothes to sell and you can get store credit to use towards a purchase or cash back (take the credit instead, trust me).
Ina is pretty well known with several locations in Soho to the Upper East side. They even have a separate men’s only store. If you want designer goods, this is the place for you but it will cost you.
Second Time Around, is a Boston chain store that has entered the New York consignment market. Their hi-tech take on consigning allows you to check the status of your items online, or you can opt to receive a text message when your stuff sells.
Old is new Again! If you guys have any places to share, please do!
