Primetime TV gets colorful

Elle magazine has featured some of our favorite leading ladies as they are making a splash on television. It has been awhile since we have seen such diversity on TV let alone in big roles so it is a pleasant surprise the women Elle has chosen for the spread. Check below.

Atop, we have youthful, funny and aunt in my head Gabrielle Union as she has landed the role for Being MaryJane, which she plays to the T!

Loved the head nod episode.

Then there are the newcomers.. Aja Naomi King, (left, love her name) is all business on How to Get Away With Murder as law student Michaela Pratt. Karen David, stars in the musical comedy Galavant.
